What is the difference between the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS®
and the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission?
The Oklahoma Association of REALTORS® (OAR) is a
professional industry association for real estate licensees. Only
real estate professionals who are members of the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS®
can call themselves REALTORS®. All
REALTORS® adhere to the National Association of REALTOR®’s strict Code
of Ethics, which is based on professionalism and protection of the public. REALTORS® are held accountable for their ethical, professional
behavior by their local association.
How many continuing education credits do I have/need?
The real estate commission prints the number
of elective and required CE credits you've earned during your current
license period on the mailing label of their quarterly "Commission
Comment" newsletter. You can also contact them at 405.521.3387 in the
