Wireless Device Policy

Due to increased interruptions from telephone calls, e-mail and instant messaging during classes at the Oklahoma REALTOR® Institute, OAR is reiterating its policy on the use of wireless devices for designation and continuing education courses. The Oklahoma REALTOR® Building is equipped with a wireless network for the convenience of its members during hourly and lunch breaks.

The use of cellular telephones and other wireless communication devices is prohibited during class except in the event of an emergency. Students are encouraged to make arrangements via voice mail or an office associate to assist with day-to-day business during classes.
Failure to adhere to this policy may jeopardize the Continuing Education (C.E.) credit earned for the entire class from which time was missed.
