Special Information for
Provisional Sales Associates
|
-
GRI Modular Courses (in any
sequence) can count toward the 45-hour post-licensing requirement for a
Sales Associate License. Please note that 45 hours of GRI classes must
be completed and documented at OAR to count; no partial credit is awarded.
-
What do I need to do to
ensure my GRI hours count toward my provisional license?
At the Institute, you will
need to check "Provisional Licensee" on the Sign-in Sheets.
-
After your fourth module, you will be sent a letter
via e-mail verifying that you have completed the course toward the GRI designation and post licensing credit. You will be sent
an Oklahoma Real Estate Commission certificate verifying completion of
four Oklahoma REALTOR® Institute modules qualifying you for the 45 hours of post-licensing credit.
Keep one certificate for your files and mail the other to the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission. You will also receive an OREC Application for Issuance of Real Estate License from Provisional to Sales Associate Active Status Request
Form. OAR will send the OREC a copy of your certificate.
-
The OREC allows one year to
fulfill your post-license requirement. It is your responsibility to
track your progress and make sure you completely fulfill this
requirement.
